Next, validate your niche by researching high-performing content. Do a quick run through high performing content in your niche. Analyze consistent viewerships, engagement, and avoid oversaturated topics. Take inspiration from top creators—what angles or formats are working for them?

Our Choice: After researching, we opted for philosophy stories. The niche has a timeless appeal—topics like Stoicism or existentialism never go out of style. Second, they’re easy to automate and offer strong monetization potential.

Step 2: Set Up Your Channel (10 Minutes)

Your channel effectiveness in attracting and retaining viewers depends on the setup. A well structured channel shows your brand’s professionalism, creating a welcoming space for your viewers.

Here's how to set up: 

1. Generate a Channel Name:

• To brainstorm faster ask ChatGPT: “Suggest 10 YouTube channel names for a storytelling philosophy channel.”  
• Result: 10 names from which we choose Tales of Thought owing to its brandability. 

2. Create a Logo & Banner:

• Next, prompt ChatGPT: “Generate an image for this channel profile picture, something like a philosopher thinking under a big tree with an ancient Greek architecture behind him, without anything else so keep it very clean and simple. 

• Result: An Image which we used. We didn’t expect a good result at the first trial. And if you’re doing this exercise and don’t like the output, you can always re-prompt it to generate other variations. 

We are almost there, we just need to take a few more steps and the channel is ready.

Step 3: Create AI-Powered Content (30 Minutes)

This is where you have most of the work, but we have a little trick for you. Instead of navigating between apps, you can do everything (for scripts, visuals, voiceovers, and animation) in Katalist.ai. Sign in or create an account if you don’t already have one and follow the steps below: 

1. Generate a Script:

• On the opening screen you have two options of either uploading a script or using an AI assistant to generate the script. 
• We’ll use the AI assistant for speed with a prompt: “A philosopher explains an intricate ancient Greek tale about perseverance while sitting under a tree.”
• Katalist.ai auto-generates a script divided into 8-9 scenes.

Although auto-generated is usually good, you can always double check to edit where necessary. 

2. Design Storyboards:

• Next, choose a visual style that aligns with your video project (e.g., “woodblock print” for an antique feel).
• Continue to customize characters name, appearance and voice (e.g., an old philosopher in a white robe).
• Next choose the video dimensions (e.g. landscape for YouTube).
• Then click create project to process the information and generate your storyboard

3. Add Voiceovers & Animate:

• Just above, navigate to the video mode button at the top and turn the images into videos with 1 click.

4. Export the Video:

4. Upload & Publish:
